Updated 4 July

Covid-19 restrictions are being and we are carefully weighing up how soon we can reopen and what we can offer across the five churches in our group.

Decisions by Church officers are likely to be made this week, following guidance from the Church of England about our next steps. The priority will be safety for visitors, for our volunteers and staff. We intend to be slow and steady in our approach to bringing the churches back into operation and are really pleased we can welcome you back, initially, into St Mary Wroxham for private prayer. We expect to open Hoveton St John shortly and then public worship to resume in the weeks after that. We will update as soon as we can.

We may not be able to meet together right now, but we are still church, wherever we each are. It’s great to have you here.

Take a look at our ‘For You‘ to access resources to use from home.

Need help? Operation Good Neighbour, a local scheme to help people in need due to the Corona Virus pandemic is still operating. We’re very glad to be able to work with others across the area to offer practical help as well as our prayers.

We can offer weddings and baptisms, and suggest you call us to discuss. Funerals can be held at the graveside or at a crematorium or in church, with reduced numbers. At this time only the immediate family may attend, observing strict social distancing.

In the Wroxham Benefice we take everyone’s safety very seriously.
